What We All Have To Think About, Feel, And Act On

Not an easy piece to read, Rev. Rigby discusses deaths by drones, children in the line of fire abroad and our own reactions to “our” dead, and not others. Empathy overload and nationalism aside, how do we put a stop to this? How do we keep our eyes open, think, feel, and then act on behalf of all, not just “ours.”

In the meantime, there are hundreds and hundreds of children of color killed in our cities across America through gun violence and other forms. They need just as much media attention and sorrow as do the victims of any mass shooting.
